Motion Mission
In science, 1M have been looking at how and why things move. This week we completed a series of tasks that involved manipulating objects in order to observe and record the causes and effects of motion. We discovered that the way things move depend on the size and shape of the object as well as the force applied to it.
Odd or Even?
This week we looked at odd and even numbers. To help us better understand this concept we used counters to form different numbers on a table. If the number we formed had a partner with no leftovers we called it even.

Book Week
This week we celebrated Book Week. We looked at some of the award winning books like 'Mr Huff' by Anna Walker and 'Why I Love Footy' by Michael Wagner. On Thursday we went into the middle room and looked at some of the interesting books available to buy. We wrote down some of our favourites on our wish list. On Friday we had our Book Parade and enjoyed dressing up as some of our favourite characters from the books we love. Here are some pictures of 1M's amazing costumes.
