Tinker Time Space Challenge
It was great to see all the interesting designs that the boys and girls came up with for their Tinker Time take home challenge. We loved listening to everyone share their designs and talk about how they made it and how it works. Here are some of 1M's amazing work!

Tinker Time Challenge 2
The next Tinker Time challenge went
home last week. The eldest child in each family took home a little package that
contains the instructions and materials needed to complete the challenge.
Students and their families are encouraged to work together using a simple circuit to create a picture or design
in space. Designs need to be back at school by Monday 23rd of May. This should be a fun and
interesting project for families to explore and work on together. Have fun! Looking forward to seeing everyone's place in space!

ANZAC Incursion
On Friday, Mr and Mrs Bird came to our school and
showed us some war memorabilia. They explained to us what it is like being a
soldier and some of the things soldiers used at war. The boys and girls loved trying
on some of the clothes as well as carrying some of the bags and equipment.
Tinkertime
On Tuesday, K-6 were
involved in Tinkertime. Tinkertime is a new program that allows kids to explore
their creativity by designing, building and making new products. Our first task
was to create a model of our house. The boys and girls loved using the
different materials to try and replicate their house and they did a marvelous
job. Here are some pictures of 1M
at work.
Thank you to all the
parents who were able to bring in some materials for Tinkertime and the parents
who were able to help out on the day. :)
